Bob Herbert has been reporting on a disastrous abuse of police authority in arresting some kids on their way to a wake. Today's column describes the eyewitnesses who say the kids were definitely not doing anything other than walking on the sidewalk.
But I think my favorite part of the piece was the note at the end:
