One Italian company has decided to ditch ties and jackets so they can shut off the air conditioning and save the carbon output. I like this decision, fun and eco-friendly. Also encourages less consumerism, because there will be less need to buy work-specific clothing. A win-win.
Italy's energy giant, Eni, is reducing its carbon footprint with a ban on ties and jackets in the office.
The company says it wastes huge amounts of energy on air-conditioning so, from now on, staff will no longer be required to wear more formal clothing.
