Making the Most of It

A word to the wise: when leaving a job, your health benefits will last till the end of the month (usually). So though my last day was April 7th, I still have my employer provided health insurance until May. [After that, I'll have to buy some on my own, because Massachusetts now has a law requiring health insurance.]

So, today I went for a physical and ordered a new pair of glasses. The glasses were on a vision plan, and so were the least expensive I'd had to buy in a while. Prescriptions for medications have been ordered to be picked up next week. I'd like to soak them for as much paperwork as possible.

For the obvious reasons, I haven't talked a whole lot about the reason this last job didn't work out, but I'm still very angry about the whole situation. And, since I'm not going to do anything crazy, I'm limiting my revenge to maximizing the health insurance benefits.
