Some companies have an automated system that will email EVERYBODY who applies telling them they recieved the application, and then an email saying that youve been rejected. I once spent 3 hours, you heard that right, interviewing for a job and was not given an answer by HR until a week after they reposted. It was a crazy interview system with multiple levels (for 30,000 a year, not CEO levels mind you lol) and I made it all the way to the top. An email saying "Thanks but no thanks" would have been nice.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/393438931137369662/308344994831202524/comments/default/6976585996114270789'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/393438931137369662/308344994831202524/comments/default/6976585996114270789'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.defendingpandora.com/2008/05/manners-on-both-sides-of-table.html?showComment=1211548200000#c6976585996114270789' title=''/><author><name>Matt</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/02190324626189329958</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.defendingpandora.com/2008/05/manners-on-both-sides-of-table.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-393438931137369662.post-308344994831202524' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/393438931137369662/posts/default/308344994831202524' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-927214681'/></entry></feed>
